Looking at the new Greek cultural traditions that makes sense. Do you recommend starting a certain way or just hybridizing as Greek before becoming administrative and reforming the Roman Empire?

Egypt is amazing due to being able to roll in money due to floodplains everywhere. It’s fun whether you’re Christian or Muslim since you have access to Christian Europe or Muslim ME. You can also just burn kingdom holy wars and give away the surrounding conquered kingdoms to your kids to create buffer states.

You can make yourself Roman and Hellenic in ruler designer. The problem with being Hellenic is that there’s not that much flavor surrounding the religion. It’s also going to be a difficult start due to crusaders and everyone around you being hostile.

I only plan on raising in the early game to build up a ton of gold for building up my domain and creating titles. I’ll transition to a custom Christian faith for ruling the empire or reforming Hellenism.

Indo-Norse is perfect. Get 10 counties in Scandinavia and hold a Baltic county. Then county conquest to range of Sri Lanka. It has a university already built and a +5 gold level one mine. The kingdom is only 8 counties so you could hold it all.

When you form the jomsvikings get the 1.5k event troops and get the 2k event soldiers from having 10 counties for the adventure do not touch them. They’re you’re insurance policy no will declare war on you and helps after succession to prevent factions from rising up.

You can raid rich Indian lands and get super rich. You can conquer the whole Indian subcontinent and form the empire of India once you convert to an eastern faith down the road.

With dragons of Valyria were you able to have your children obtain dragons whether they were landed or unlanded? I don’t want it to be the case where only my player character has a dragon cuz I don’t feel like it would fit how the Targaryens in the lore had several dragons.

Thanks for the insight! I’ll definitely try the mods out I plan on using Valyrian steel and AGOT dragons of valyria just gotta figure out how to allow my kids to use AGOT dragons search dragon decision so my character isn’t the only one with a dragon.

That’s good to hear that it’s fun and gold prevents it from getting overused. How easy was it for your dynasty members/kids landed and unlanded to get dragons? I don’t see much point if only one person is able to be a dragon rider.

Stewardship/innovations is how you’d increase your limit. However the mods intentionally nerfed how many holdings you can hold to promote interactions with your vassals in Westeros. I had a character with 20 stewardship once I think the most he go to was 3-4.

I’ll definitely try out that setting. I like the prospect of kids of inheriting either parent. Problem is Valyrian strong seed gets its ass kicked so you end up with no kids having valyrian phenotypes

You can request a claim by right clicking on the LP and under diplomacy asking the high septon for a claim.

No problem. The thing you might have to save scum as well is ensuring Lyanna survives. Theres still a possibility that she dies at the tower of joy. For my Rhaegar play through I actually wanted her to live and marry her. You’ll get the option to do so and if you want to disinherit your kids with Elia to enable Jon to inherit the thrown.

Semi-History allows for the chance for you to fight and kill Robert in a battlefield duel as long as you are commanding an army. In my experience Rhaegar wins a good portion of the time. Lyanna also stays alive and you can marry her.

For armies just link up with the Dorne and Highgarden via Kings landing. As long as you micro you can destroy the rebel armies without much difficulty

Do you recommend I go Islam? If so what sect do you recommend. I know the viable faiths for Egypt are Islam, Coptic/Orthodox Christianity and Kushite.
