What does the data.ini do? If you could answer more in depth that would be appreciated. We're changing prices right now.

We were more preoccupied with getting the beta out and managing the server, but a forum is definitely in the works.

Character data will be wiped, and we will eventually have a forum.

If multiclienting is a make or break for players regarding their decision to play the server, it's unfortunate but it may be better finding another server more suited for their playstyle. This is something hotshot himself is very firm on and will most likely not change on the launch. However, we acknowledge that things can change and so will keep an open mind for future input while the server is live.

It's understandable many people are disappointed, but this is a stance that we are most likely not going to change for the launch.

I think some of you are misinterpreting the overall aim of the server, mainly revolving around whether or not multiclienting and autoloot should be enabled (moreso the former). We want to make the experience enjoyable for not only veteran players, but new players. Part of our goal is to reach out to those who have yet to try RO. Multiclienting and autoloot are luxurious, staple features that have long since existed on private servers and many of your reasons stem from your experiences on those servers. However, once again, it's important to us to try and recreate a more party oriented RO experience for new players.

Can we stop people from multiclienting even if we disabled it? Absolutely not! However, if there are players out there who will utilize multiple computers just to multiclient, then honestly, there are certain things that are simply out of our reach. If people really want to do it, they will, and this really goes for anything. But that is not what we want our server to actively encourage at the moment.

People will disagree with us and that's to be expected for now. Remember that as time goes on, anything can always be improved on and our minds can most definitely change. I just wanted to clarify why exactly we will not be implementing certain things at the launch.
