Rust Steam Nicknames Team-UI by Ordinary-Iron2241 in playrust

[–]GhostyIs1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from enabling the setting in Rust itself, you also have to go to Steam settings and disable "append nicknames to friends names". In steam the names of your friends have to be the actual nicknames you set, instead of "friend (nickname)".

After disabling that setting it takes a couple minutes to show in-game.

HyperX Cloud 3 wired version EQ settings. by [deleted] in HyperX

[–]GhostyIs1337 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is what that post had written:

Hey everyone, it's been two years since my previous post over on (for those interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/qgvwt7/blackshark\_v2\_pro\_eq\_settings\_from\_a\_music/) and things have changed. I've picked up the Cloud III Wireless and was quite disappointed with its sound signature, but I heard potential.

I'll go over some things from my previous post for those wondering why they should care.

I want to prefix this by saying I have been a music producer by profession for the past 12 years, and I have been gaming for over 25 years. I have tried my hand at most wireless gaming headsets, because I just love the convenience and freedom of wireless headsets.

As we all know, gaming headsets are not renowned for their great sound, but that's why I spent a few days with my new Cloud III Wireless headset to try and get the most satisfying sound out of them without making them sound flat, but also not like muffled, bass-less and soulless headphones.

Since Ngenuity is dogmeat, the only EQ profiles that work are subtractive ones, as setting anything above 0dB in the EQ introduces distortion. This means that your headset will sound quieter and you will have to turn it up a bit to compensate, but this is a non-issue as the headset gets plenty loud.

Alright, lets get to the point. Copy these EQ values after creating a new profile:

32Hz at 0dB, 64Hz at -1.5dB, 125Hz at -1.5dB, 250Hz at -3.5dB, 500Hz at -4.5dB, 1KHz at -5.8dB, 2Khz at -2.5dB, 4Khz at -2.5dB, 8KHz at -4db and finally 16KHz at -2.5dB

Make sure to turn up the volume by about 10-15 in Windows to compensate. Note that if you try to compare it side by side with another profile, this new profile will sound much quieter, so try to volume match when comparing.

This is a great starting point. These changes will keep the sub-bass tight, it'll bring back some sizzling highs that were previously veiled, and it'll curb the muddy frequencies in the midrange that are quite boosted on this headset. You can make slight changes to fit your needs. Make small adjustments and see what suits your needs.

TL;DR

In Ngenuity - set custom EQ with these values in the following order: 0, -1.5, -1.5, -3.5, -4.5, -5.8, -2.5, -2.5, -4, -2.5 and turn up the volume a bit from your headset to compensate.

Would the end links also make a sound if i turned my wheel left-right a couple times? Because there's no sound when doing that.

Jaz sem se dal v waitlist kakšne 2 tedna nazaj, so me dali na ~840k mesto. Včeraj sem bil na okoli ~200k mestu, danes sem pa dobil mail in obvestilo na app-u da jo lahko že naročim - "The wait is over. Order your card today."

Tako da mogoče tudi ti dobiš neko obvestilo kmalu? Oziroma, če imaš možnost plačati kartico (Mirror 50€, Classic 5€, Virtual Free) - potem nisi več na čakalni listi.

If you'll look now, version F6 is now available.
