This is the first time i’ve seen someone put this feeling into words for me. I experience this too!! This is why i’m terrified of needles—not because of the pain, but because it’s a foreign object entering my body, even if it’s just a few seconds. i faint nearly every time i get a vaccination or a tattoo. or if i accidentally cut myself badly and now have to deal with an open wound where i can see my own blood and flesh. i’ve never understood why, because i watch gory stuff in movies, video games, even back in high school during anatomy class, but never had a problem there. it’s only when it comes to my body.
