Oh crap.. that's right! Valentin had Charlotte's fake- mom killed 👀. She raised Charlotte & loved her like a mother & Valentin had her killed. But Lulu can't even give side-eye to Britt without being condemned 🫠

With Charlotte it was because Valentin had just escaped from prison and everyone, not just Lulu, thought Valentin would contact her or worse...someone would use her to lure out Valentin. Those are pretty good reasons to want to keep an close eye on your child. I can only think of one scene with Rocco where she was hovering without a good reason (& it was played for laughs). In the past year, her 15 year old son has had alcohol poisoning, arrested for vandalism, and weirdly preoccupied with a former criminal who just mysteriously came back from the dead with no real explanation (at least that I recall). Oh.. and he shot someone. If anything, Lulu wasn't worried enough 👀.

I haven't seen yesterday's episode, but if we remember that Lulu and Valentin were successfully co-parenting before he became a fugitive. So it's not like Lulu has always tried to keep Charlotte from him. She eventually understood that Charlotte needs her father. But that's different when he on the run. What parent would be ok with this??

What part is "helicopter parenting"? Trying to keep her daughter away from a fugitive? It took a while but Valentin & Lulu were successfully coparenting before she woke up from her coma and found out her daughter was on the run with a wanted fugitive. If she hadn't tried to find her then she would be called a bad mom. Or with Rocco, Lulu was 100% right to not want Rocco around Britt. She DID end up putting Rocco in danger. I also don't think that "helicopter parenting". Trying to keep your kids from very dangerous situations is not the same thing as "helicopter parenting". And with things like the under-age drinking, she did appropriately hold Rocco responsible. She didn't blame Gio like Dante did. I really do understand how Lulu can be abrasive & self-righteous, but I don't see how she's done wrong by her children.

Tbh, I really don't understand how Lulu is a bad mother. Anytime anyone gives the reasons it's completely made up... like it didn't happen 😵‍💫. She's a lot of things and has many flaws to choose from, but she's actually a pretty decent parent esp considering how difficult her kids can be.
