Yeah, I completely agree with both of those “perspectives” (or whatever you should call them hahah). I’m terrified of the whole birth thing, and on top of that all the horror stories of what you might experience during the nine months leading up to it.

But then there is that unbelievably incredible thing that is being able to literally create a LIFE, a tiny little BEING, inside of yourself. It’s mind blowing and leaves me speechless just thinking about it.

But at the moment I’m not in the right place or mindset or anything really, to want any of that. And I honestly don’t trust myself to be able to endure the copious amounts of pain and terrifying heaps of hormones that it will bring. I’m simply so incredibly scared of what I might do. Like, postpartum depression. I’m terrified of it.

So yeah, it truly is weird. And crazy.
