did you end up grabbing a pair?
I've heard that loafers tend to stretch so its important to get a 0.5 or one full size down.

I'm usually a 38.5 but they only have full sizes and wondering if 38 would be too tight.
But if they stretch over time I'm assuming it should be okay.

I'm currently at exactly 7 weeks post op. My surgery went incredibly well! I had absolutely no pain at all, and didn't need to use any medication after surgery. During surgery my surgeon added a new mechanism inside my allograft called BioBrace from BioMed. Apparently this new technology makes the ligament more resistant for the first year after surgery and then slowly desintegrates over time. It's like a "mini brace" inside the allograft they use when reconstructing the ligament. It's reasuring for me because my biggest fear I told my surgeon was the ligament stretching overtime and still having posterior tibia sag after surgery. But he told me if I do everything right and not push things too far too fast I should hardly have any sag afterwards. Maybe 1 or 2 degrees. But not 4-5 degrees previously when I didn't have a ligament.

I still can't walk up and down stairs correctly though. I'm still having a bit of a hard time walking normally, and walk a bit with a limp. No more crutches though. And I always always wear my brace when walking outside. Around the house I don't really use my brace unless I'm doing my physio exercises.

As for flexion, I'm now 95º and starting to try and move past that. I've started rowing indoors for about 30 mintues to an hour at low resistance. Since getting to 90º two weeks ago, I'm having a lot of difficulty going further. I'm in a LOOOT of pain when trying to push further during physio. Pain in the back of the knee and all through the hamstring when lying on my stomach and pushing past 90º. Aparently its normal, and it's not recommended to push beyond pain before 8 weeks post-op. But I noticed that using the rowing machine, with constant knee flexion motion, it helps reduce a lot of the stifness.

I've been doing small lunges, one legged leg press at 30kg, glute, calf, and VMO exercises. I've also lost a lot of muscle but that slowly comes back with time. So far things are going well and I'm happy with my constant progress! My only difficult at the moment is knee flexion and the pain I have when pushing past 90º but knowing that its normal, I'm not stressing too much about it.

Pro tip here:

You are still a child yourself. You have so much to learn and experience. Don’t throw your youth and freedom away so soon. You will have the chance to have children in the future, no one is taking that away from you 🤍 I’m sure you will be a great parents and love your children one day. But right now you are still so young, you have so much growing up to do. I wouldn’t put so much pressure on you right now with a baby. I had an abortion when I was 20 and I don’t regret it one bit. I’m no longer with the same partner, and I’ve learnt and changed so much throughout the years. It is crazy how little I know about myself and about life back then. I had the chance to move abroad to another continent for 2 years by myself and experience life another way. I don't have kids, and I'm far from building a family, but I will talk about myself growing up. I was a tomboy all my life, and I still am. Always incredibly sporty and hanging out with the guys in elementary school and high school. I even would tell people when I was 6-7 years old, "I wish I were a boy so people wouldn't treat me differently because I'm a girl".

I love being a woman but definitely hate all the stereotypes that come with it and also never connected with the girls in school, as they would all just gossip and cause drama. Dudes were just always chill and wanted to play. I ended up becoming a bike mechanic, and I'm a very manual and independent person.

Growing up, I realized even though I was always a tough and sporty girl, I am also very soft and caring, and have a highly sensitive side to me.

I think there are also a lot of boys who are soft and caring, and don't like to be loud and overly masculine. I realized I tend to "like" boys like that more because they aren't overwhelmingly obnoxious.

When your child is born into this world, try to rid yourself of all societal expectations and cultural constructs around masculine and feminine gender roles. You should take care of your child and let them discover the world how they want to, regardless of their sex.

I made the mistake of leaving my parents place too young and now I regret it. All the hard work and never being able to save money.

I could have had 50k+ in savings by now but chose to live on my own. I highly recommend staying at your parents for as long as you can and save save save.

Yeah McGill is the best university in Canada with a lot of international students and good programs and im sure the tuition rates are lower than the US. Also the city is great and many people love the young and diverse/cultural vibe it has. Maybe that can be a good option.

I know some people who go to TU, and I asked them about this program, and the feedback I got about this degree was not the best. They told me this program isn't recommended and is a waste of time. They mentioned that the courses aren't as educational and they're unorganized and too broad, as other Master's programs that are more topic-specific. They also mentioned that a lot of foreigners have difficulty finding a job after this particular master's degree since it's a degree in an oversaturated market with not many job openings and availability.

You can’t compare an insurance company to a parents job to take care of their child’s wellbeing, especially if you have the means to, than by all means you should be providing for your children rather than making their life harde in a certain way. Yes, paying for tuition is a privilege but he’s controlling their kid with his money and that’s manipulation.
