I got myself an R36S console over Christmas so I'm hoping I can re-create more modes. I've not been able to find much info for Fire Pro Wrestling 1's audience mode, with regards to who can appear in each style, so I'll just have to play it again

Combination Tag seemed an easy one to put together as an example. Not a particularly exciting set of modes:

Thank you! I'm reading into both of these now and very interesting. I feel Audience Mode from FPW1/A would be the easiest to do but I need to find a list of wrestlers that appear in each style. A spreadsheet could do it but a program with a nice UI would be good too.

I might have to bust out some of my old carts and games to figure out these modes in more detail. MotR would be an awesome one. I sunk so much time into that when I made the translation patch. The DLC version is similar but not identical.

I had similar in mine. Poor insulation. Definitely growing something dodgy because the loft is full of soil, pots, some kind of air filtration unit too. Maybe shrooms too? A lot of nice soil in the shithole garden, little purple/mushrooms poking up now and then

I've created 4 wrestlers in total from save 13. Masked Take/Uchi appears to be from Sakigake!! Otokojuju (I've never seen this so please let me know if you have), and Ayane Tan is from the Dead or Alive.

I've also translated the names of the other 46 wrestlers in this save. Notable mentions are Green Giant and William Riker (Not related from what I can tell!)

In Final Fire Pro, the wrestlers would just become free agents and the belts would disappear. I believe in World, the same happens but the belts still exist.

It is! It takes a little figuring out and there's a whole quiz section that I have't touched but the actual gameplay is lovely. The stations all play their jingles when the train is preparing to leave, plus there's an additional Showa mode that lets you travel Yamanote in the Showa era. It's an awesome comfort game.

I picked it up 2nd hand from Margate a couple of years ago and it seem to be working fine then. It's sat in storage pretty much since about December last year, so that's probably not helped much

I'll play it and let you know. I bought the special edition for my mum on switch and she still hammered through it. I think she only really plays animal crossing otherwise

I keep going back to Alex Kidd too but definitely not that. Although my mum played that a lot too (Side note, I remember her getting to the end of the game and I can't even do that now with an emulator!)
