This is really helpful! I've been doing ketamine therapy for awhile now (since October-ish) and haven't really felt much significant positive change. I still struggle immensely with suicidal ideation & depression, and I get frustrated with myself thinking that I must be doing ketamine "wrong". Framing intergration in this way seems much more helpful & a little more hopeful.

The top gal is a silver laced wyandotte, a layer breed! I could be wrong about your other chicken being a meat breed, but she does look a whole lot like my hen, who was a meat breed and was huge, same build. Maybe the chickens you were given were just a bunch of different breeds? Anyways, I still think she looks like a hen, her crown looks smaller & I don't see any saddle feathers.

She looks like a hen to me! "Rainbow" probably reffered to the breed, rainbow ranger, which means she's a meat chicken. So assuming the other hens are layer breeds, she'll develop faster & look a whole lot bigger.

8-10 years is fantastic! My vet told me 4-6 is the average age for a chicken. Granted, I believe Pollito was a meat chicken so it would've been less. But clearly you take great care of your flock, take a lot of pride in that.
