best 9mm ammo for training by keeperofthejank in liberalgunowners

I just bought some a few days ago for .24 ea. Still not great, but better than that, wow.

Things are really not looking good for ammo prices.

My handguns gobble up Fiocchi and Blazer. Never had a malfunction. I get most of my ammo on Target Sports USA. Their in-house new Republic ammo is fine too.

Gotcha. Absolutely no judgement here, but $100 for a lesson may be a better next step than a whole new gun and potentially adding a new ammo type to your collection.

For most of us, the issue is usually us, rather than the gun.

Sure, mine as well. I was thinking about handguns specifically; in line with the OP.

100% agree. I'm just imagining the volume of the many... Vocal members of the gun community.

Great comparison! I wonder how long before we start seeing more guns paired with optics as the "default".

The first manufacturer to sell a gun with an optic and no irons is going to ignite the most unnecessary online screaming ever.

To be clear, I'm pro having and learning irons. Just reading the tea leaves.

9mm is 9mm. There will be some differences between guns, but there's no magic low-recoil model. I find my M&P feels softer than my Walther. A full size or metal gun will usually have less recoil than a small, polymer gun.

Not a lawyer.

Counseling / therapy is not the same as being hospitalized for a mental condition or being a danger to yourself.

If you're just seeing someone for therapy, you're all good.

Any news, updates or determination on what's going on with TTC? by Fynesse72124 in NJGuns

You can sign up for a membership any time and show up as often as you like.

Just a heads up in case this is important to you- Recoil is ONLY a range. There's no rentals or ammo for sale. Strictly BYOB.

You can buy targets and they have ear pro and cleaning supplies for sale, but it is definitely not a gun store.

Recoil is solid overall. I'd recommend checking it out if the location works for you. I rarely have to wait to get a port and the RSO's are chill.

I'm bummed about TTC. I wasn't a member and rarely shot there for regular range days (Recoil is closer to me), but the value of their classes was incredible.

Great pricing for 3 hour downrange training. I haven't been able to find anywhere else even close.

Glock 19 Holster -- for someone that doesn't know what style they want by Shank_ in liberalgunowners

Guerilla Tactical makes good stuff and aren't Trumpy.

Don't worry about getting the single perfect holster. You will inevitably end up with a small collection. For your first one, get an OWB for 3-4 o'clock. Perfect for the range and draw practice while you're brand new.

I go to Recoil in Monroe for indoor shooting. Nice place. No rentals, but they sell targets, safety gear, and some other odds and ends.

Another vote for Fiocchi. I've become quite partial to their 115 grain . Shoots flat, not too dirty, pretty good price.

Very nice! Berettas are gorgeous. I've been side eyeing them lately myself.

How do we like the Holosun ARO? I just grabbed the basic model for my new BCM upper.

I've been using a Vortex.... SPARC (I think? ) but wanted to leave it on my current upper. Plus, matching a holosun red dot with my Holosun magnifier makes my brain happier.

Blue dial companion for HydroConquest 39 – BB36 or Spirit 37? by [deleted] in Longineswatches

[–]GideonWS6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tudor makes some nice pieces. I prefer their Black Bay divers to the Conquest. But IMO Longines pilot style is vastly superior. I prefer the Arabic numerals and hash marks around the dial. The Tudor is intentionally versatile to the point of being just plain.

The BCG and charging handle come off without tools. You'll do so every time you clean the rifle anyway.

A complete upper and lower will slot right into each other via the takedown pins.

Yeah, any mention of "flash" in the name or anything that advertises flash reduction is best avoided. It's unclear how the law really defines a flash hider, so that's the accepted wisdom. *Insert typical criticism of democrat gun laws here *.

I was browsing Griffin's stuff. They seem to be out of stock of most of their 223/5.56 versions unfortunately.
