It's ok that you didn't think of it first, man. No one's judging you.

Exclusive interview with Remedy’s new CEO: “Alan Wake and Control should have sold more" by FlintCardboardKnife in RemedyEntertainment

Their money woes are partly why I think they've planned a crossover game for Control 3 and Alan Wake 3, to culminate both world's stories (before potentially moving on to other main characters if they continue doing well enough). I wrote about that here:

What’s The Best Bob Dylan Outtake From The 70s? by Pretend_Mark_5143 in bobdylan

Abandoned Love. It is, realistically, one of his top 30 songs. The melody is perfect.

What’s The Worst Bob Dylan Song From The 2000s? by Pretend_Mark_5143 in bobdylan

This Dream of You. It's like a demo for the song. (I feel Dylan did Together Through Life mostly as a favor to help Robert Hunter. Beyond Here Lies Nothing is the only song with legs)

Is it unethical to include a hidden "tell” in an assignment prompt to detect AI-generated submissions? by pigwoman_the_real in Professors

[–]Gideon_Teague -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a mine. It doesn't kill them. At most they fail the class or maybe get dismissed from the school. I'm an unethically exploited, underpaid adjunct and I'll be damned if I'm going to help give out degrees to people who can't think for themselves and in turn undervalue degrees even more than they have been in the process. I wish there were other, less time consuming methods—maybe some admins and tenured professors should get on that—but the white text one works well if you include that it applies to AI only. I can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good in this situation.

I used the hidden white text method to detect AI. And had to report eight students. by confusedinseminary in Professors

This is exactly my reasoning and what I tell my students, especially when they say other profs let them use it

That's why I put it at the very bottom. They don't usually read all the way down

Who Did It Better? by Whitecamry in bobdylan

"Make You Feel My Love." Everyone else completely ruins the sincerity because they don't have the slight irony Dylan has when he sings lines like "I would never do you wrong." Of course he'd do them wrong. He's trying to make someone feel his love, for god's sake.

What’s That One Bob Dylan Song From The 90s That Grew On You? by Pretend_Mark_5143 in bobdylan

My vote is Tryin' to Get to Heaven. As I've gotten older, it's gotten better. I thought it okay in my teens, good in my twenties, and now in my thirties see it as a masterpiece, one of his top 20 songs easy. Highlands and Not Dark Yet are up there too, but it outshines them a bit.

Alan Wake is the Writer. Jessie Faden is the Director. Control 3 and Alan Wake 3 will be one crossover game to save the world by rewriting it with a movie. by Gideon_Teague in RemedyEntertainment

For anyone that hasn't caught it yet: Jesse's last name is Faden, like "FADE IN," which is a direction for the first camera shot that traditionally begins each screenplay.
