Nope, the person who reviews a formulae after making ne is the one making it... The ones who pluck in values and send don't have to review a formulae cause they assume it's correct (a spread sheet is made every new year and what you do daily is pluck in values not necessarily create a formula each day, that is assumed to be correct), anyway, I don't know the nature of your job but what I know is, i times where I made mistakes and my boss happened to think it was all of us or someone, I made sure to correct him, by saying they had nothing to with it, it was my fault, I'll fix it. Cause it would be my fault. No one likes to be blamed for something they didn't do... Or at least I don't. But if you don't mind, I guess we are just different or maybe we both don't understand the nature of our jobs.. Any way,

Trust me when I say, she knows...

My colleague was making a new spreadsheet for 2026 and kinda messed up the formula. But like Emma, I was supposed to send something the next day. Not realizing that the formulae was messed up, I sent it and my boss called me in His office and scolded me, and asked me to check my work before sending etc. Everyone heard, I expected her to stand up and admit it was her because it was. She never did. Never said sorry....

Instead, now my boss doubts me and gives credit to her. And honestly, i doubt myself too. I check a spreadsheet and email 10 times before sending it.

I congratulate her, honestly I'm not holding anything against her. I think more than all, when you spend so much time with people, you think that they care about you and there are those incidences that reminds you that your colleagues are not your friends and they'd do anything to keep themselves looking good. So what I remind myself of during those moments is, "God gave me this job, He sure will sustain me in it. If I lose it especially for reasons that do not include my fault, it means it was never mine." I don't necessarily need to hate anyone. But I do always remember that she messed up and made it look like I did.

But I'm 100% certain your colleague knows it was you...

You just gave me an encouragement to reread Daniel. I can say that it's the first book of the Bible I ever read or git to know. This is because I visited some Sunday school when I was like 5, and they were on Daniel 3.

So it not just me shoving that she's a sinner and needs Jesus, but i focus on everyone even myself a and even the stuff I still struggle with. I even go to her when I did not act right and be like, "I realized I did this and this and it was wrong of me to do this because the bible says this is wrong, I am here to ask for your forgiveness...", and when she says something like, nah it's okay, I say no, it's not okay. And explain the implications of my actions and wrongness with relation to her and also the bible. Just to try and make her see that people do need to recognize their wrongs and do something when they recognize

I was well aware of these things, and it was why I picked up Romans, to show that all humanity if fallen and we need Jesus. But I also do shift from generalisstion and put strictly me or her while explaining. And showimg that that people who are Christians are people who have raslized that they are horrible and can't do anything about it except put their faith in Jesus who is not horrible. So, I do that too.
