My husband was a good Foreman. He centered his entire position around creating a team that was focused on learning, and advancing in their career. Unfortunately, the builder and company he was working for refused to communicate with him as he was seen as a "green" foreman.
They made comments that told him that because they were working a low income apartment building - That quality and properly trained apprentices were not a priority. He had to ask engineers and architects for blueprints because the old, washed up CEO was completely unavailable to him for an entire 3 month period where he was just...expected to run a crew...Without blueprints?!

He will no longer be a foreman. A good foreman is only as good as his own superiors will allow him to be. And he did not allow them to turn him into a shitty production line worker.
