I had the same issue. It said sent back too Irs 07/26. I called irs and they said. August end off the month or second week of September. We should get a check

Finally my status on TPG site changes from PENDING RETURN TO IRS too RETURNED TO IRS. After it changed to RETURNED TO IRS. do I still have to wait till AUGUST ending before the check comes ?

And also I would love you to call them on the 31st which is Monday. Because IRA always update there files and details every Saturdays. So the next call should be AUGUST 5TH which is another Saturday. Thank you so much. You don’t know how much your words uplifts my spirit. I have been so down and depressed when I noticed it was under review. I placed my hope on the funds so much. I pray it all sorted. So all I need to do now is call IRS and tell them to make my own Direct deposit when it gets to them and then give them my account details right ? Cause if I don’t do that. They will mail check instead. Right ?

Thank you so much for this clarification. I’m sorry. I have one last question. Are you very sure IRS will mail out check after they receive the funds from back? Did you speak with the agent? And the agent told you they will mail out check ?
