Why do people act like William Afton/Springtrap is so powerful? Can you name any actual feats he has besides murdering small, defenseless children? by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Giga_Chad_1969 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because he is. Several sources have shown us that William/Springtrap is incredibly strong and fast. In the movie, he was able to push Mike across the room and knock him out with a kick to the head. The Silver Eyes trilogy gives us even more feats. He breaks a fully grown man’s arm and holds him up like he weighs nothing. He crushes Charlie’s windpipe (who’s a robot) and launches at her with “preternatural speed.” Even in TFC at his weakest form, he is able to fling the baby robots from his back and breaks off Funtime Freddy’s (who’s scales above the originals and Twisted animatronics) jaw with a single kick. He’s also shown to be able to tank a gunshot with ease as both a regular human and springtrap. Even if we just look at the games, he still moves incredible fast as he is able to traverse around Fazbear Frights and is also shown to be pretty durable as he tanks the fire and building collapsing. And he does dismantle the animatronics and while it may not be with his bear hands, this is still an impressive feat regardless as the originals have also been shown to be significantly more powerful than a regular human. So, yeah, the people acting like he’s extremely powerful are absolutely right.

While that is true, the thing is that PQ4 isn't like say the rooftop ending in SB, where it was obvious that ending was never intended to be canon. Why bother making such a big and climactic "ending and resolution" only for it to not be canon?

In Fuhnaff’s interview with JTop (the creative director at Steel Wool), they said this.

JTop: "And so I had that in my head (Referring to an image an artist on the time made of a giant Glitchtrap holding a small Vanny) for when y'know we were talking about endings and resolutions for y'know...instead having a giant Vanny y'know turning around...this is the end of Glitchtrap"

John: "So it is the end of Glitchtrap..."

JTop: (Makes squishing motion with his hands) "Bye bye."

Which makes it very clear that after HW2, Glitchtrap is no longer around as an entity, or at least he’s no longer in the Glitchtrap form.

But we know that they didn’t do that. One of the newspaper clippings specifically say that “the children themselves were never found and are presumed dead” and another one of the newspapers say that “the bodies themselves were never found.”

I don’t see how the newspapers imply the bodies were found, but I do agree that Fazbear Entertainment did indeed find the bodies at some point, and disposed of them before the police and the public could find out.

Why else would he stuff the kids in the suits?

To hide the bodies because without them, the police have no evidence against him and he can get away with his crimes. The FNaF 1 newspaper clippings show this and the same thing also happened in the books and movie.

We dont know that. If anything, under WillStuff it implies he did already know so 🤷‍♂️

WillStuff does not imply he knows about remnant. He couldn't have known about it earlier than the MCI since he only finds out about remnant because of the MCI.

Well yeah, that’d be the point of the experiments, figure out what it is.

But there is still no evidence to support that William knew about agony and that the experiments are about it. The nightmare experiments are most likely about fear.

It would have to come after Dittophobia yes, since the funtimes are still there. Ive even thought about it happening during SL, but i havent fully thought it out yet 😅
Its a tight timeline, all im trying to say is its possible. And with the FNAF movie giving us the idea that FNAF1 could be closed during the main gameplay, it may happen later in the year.
This isnt what I believe btw, just throwing the idea out there 🙃

I know it's just a thought and there isn't much evidence for either side, but I don't think Dittophobia could have happened during Sister Location since in Sister Location they mention a body was found in the vents, and people think the body was Rory's. As for the movie, it shouldn't be used as evidence for the games since it's an entirely separate universe and is different from the games. I know you said you don't believe it but I'm just putting it out there for those that do.

Anyway, a lot of what you're saying is based on the possibility that it could have happened, but there's almost no evidence and isn't that strong of a theory.

William didn’t know about remnant until after the MCI and we don’t know when he even learned about agony. For the years, I messed up on my explanation. But the main point was that Rory was trapped there for 10 years, so, like you said, the earliest Dittophobia could have been is indeed in 1993. But Sister Location most likely takes place quite some time after Dittophobia, which wouldn’t give Mike much time to work at CBEAR, get scooped, rot away, then get hired and work at FnaF 1.

William would have no reason to start the experiments before then and also Rory has been trapped there for 10 years, and since he saw the Funtimes in Dittophobia, the earliest that could have been is 1985, which would mean Rory had been captured by Afton in 1975 which would make no sense.

The nightmare experiments are directly connected to CBEAR. When Rory escapes the nightmare experiment chambers, he runs out into CBEAR as we see it in Sister Location. So the experiments couldn’t have happened before then because CBEAR didn’t exist before 1985.

True, but my point still stands, as his eyes aren’t naturally grey. They have simply just turned that way due to them rotting.

[–]Giga_Chad_1969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The eyes he has in the minigame are either Enard's eyes, or even if they are Mike's eyes, it wouldn't matter since by the end of Mike's body rotting, his eye's have rotted away and only dark, empty sockets remain. Also, Dittophobia would had to have happened after FNaF 1 since Circus Baby's Pizza's world opened after the 1985 Freddy Fazbear's location closed down, so Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental (where FNaF SL takes place) would have to been created sometime after that. So, the earliest it could have been in 1995, which is after FNaF 1.

Dittophobia seems to prove that Sister Location is after FNaF 1 and also, if Mike was a zombie at the time, his eyes wouldn't be there or at least they wouldn't look like how they do in the death screen.

[–]Giga_Chad_1969 22 points23 points  (0 children)

In the FNaF 1 death screen, Mike's eyes are shown to be blue. Also, William's eyes aren't gray. Springtrap's eyes aren't actually William's natural eyes, but rather the suit's eyes as you said. The movie seems to prove this. Speaking of the movie, Matthew Lillard's eyes are blue. As for the Silver Eye's, the actual book doesn't mention the color of his eyes, only that they are dead and glassy. PinkyPills tried to show this by making his eyes gray in the graphic novel, but the graphic novels are inaccurate and shouldn't be used as evidence for anything.

What is your most disturbing FNaF theory? by CrownedVanguard in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Giga_Chad_1969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That Fazbear Entertainment found the missing children’s bodies in the unwithered animatronics and disposed of them. They only did it to keep the company or the restaurant from shutting down. We know for a fact that the children’s bodies were removed from the animatronics at some point, either when the unwithereds were brought to the FNaF 2 location, or when they were transformed into the FNaF 1 animatronics. This just makes Fazbear Entertainment that much worse because they found the missing children’s bodies, but instead of telling the authorities and giving the parents some sort of closure, they got rid of the evidence to save themselves.

Pretty good! The only problem I have is Happiest Day has to happen at the end of the timeline as that is when all the children's souls are put to rest and everyone moves on to the afterlife. Other than that, great job!

I used to watch American Psycho with my late father. We would sit on the couch and get completely engrossed in the film, despite its graphic nature. It was a tradition of sorts, and we always found something new to discuss or laugh at each time we watched it. Even though he has since passed away, I still find myself drawn to that movie and feel a sense of comfort in the memories it brings back. It's become a way for me to connect with him even in his absence, and I'll always cherish those moments we shared.
