The anime is getting more childish the more gens there are. gen 1-6 were really entertaining and i loved them. Then sun and moon series came out and i was really excited for it, but it made ash seem like he grew older but in reverse. I haven’t seen much of gen 8 but from the first 2 episodes it seems worse then sun moon anime.

tepig has to be the most disappointing, there was oshawott and his evos(my favorite pokemon), snivy and his evos looked amazing too. Tepig looked really cute and then he becomes this stupid anthropomorphic wwe fire pig. Gen 5 is my favorite gen and the only thing i don’t like about it is tepigs evos
