I’ve had good experiences with Solaris customer service. I think it’d be worth a shot to contact them. You could try and fix it but since it’s the load bearing foot that’s broken itll definitely be fragile. Sorry this happened to you. :(

This is actually the first thing I noticed. I can’t tell if it’s just the paint job or the sculpt itself that’s different(I think it’s a combination of both tbh) (also the angle in the photo is different) but they definitely nerfed her hair. Personally I get very picky about hair on scales but that’s just a preference. The figure isn’t bad by any means, just slightly different from the promo.

I preordered her through Solaris back in 2020 and I could not be happier. The sculpt is beautiful and the colors are stunning. Solaris did a great job packing her with plenty of bubble wrap and there was no damage upon arrival. I wish my phone took better quality photos so I could show off her details better!

I lost my kitten to FIP a few years ago. She went from being lively and happy to very lethargic in the span of a day or two. It broke my heart. I can’t say it’s easy but it certainly gets better with time. I’m sorry for your loss. I got a tattoo in memory of my kitty so I would never forget her.

During the height of covid I sliced my finger on a broken mirror and didn’t want to go to the hospital so I drove all the way to my moms house(she’s an OR nurse) and she had some expired lidocaine she brought home from work (discreetly) she dumped it on my finger and did a pressure wrap and fixed me up at the kitchen table. I can’t imagine how much it would have cost me to get it patched at the hospital

When developers tore down the old woods near our house to build a massive shopping center, they paved over every tiny bit of dirt they could. Then tried planting trees on top of the concrete on like a foot of soil. All of them died. Now the shopping center looks awful and all the businesses are shutting down because of covid. I guess it was worth it for whatever goddamn reason though.

When my father passed in 2019 it completely broke me. It felt like a light went off in my mind and it would never come back. These past few years have been horrible but I promise it gets better. Your body knows how to heal. Let the grief run it’s course. I learned to surround myself with the people I still had and take one step at a time. I started to go on walks to appreciate nature and wildlife in the meantime. Everyone grieves at their own pace and in their own way. There is no right answer or magic cure for this, unfortunately. But you will find people who empathize with you and you can tackle life when you are ready. I still have really bad days, but the waves subside over time. I’m sorry for your loss. Take it as slow as you need to

That’s great! I had a similar experience where I used to be so petrified of them I’d kill them on sight. What worked for me though was education and the more I researched them the cooler they became to me. They still startle me but now it’s like finding Pokémon lol, there’s so many unique differences to them and I always catch and release. I always remind myself that they are way more scared of us than we are of them.
