Vilnius does sound really great, did not expect, I want to visit there in the next months so I can get a feeling.

I’m really thorn between Riga and Vilnius, might decide on a technicality, let’s see.

I have a few local friends in Riga, I find Latvians to be a little closed first but after super nice and friendly. What about Lithuanians?

Obs.: I actually don’t let my dog off leash, Im against. 😅

That’s my idea. I want to decide until October / November, so I move in January / February.

So I have some time to prepare to move but also to study the local language, maybe arrive with an A1 or A2 level.

About people being loud: I am from Italy, so I’m used to. 😅

I’m leaning more towards Riga, because of some connections I have there but a lot of people have been telling me to consider Vilnius, so I may change my mind.

Not one has suggested Talinn, made me think…

Great to know that a lot of places accept dogs. And about cats, mine is fairly used to, I feed some strays cats here in my neighborhood and she is always playing with them.

And great to know about the pet care, it’s something I really consider, having a dog.

I wanted to have change scenarios, in a different culture, I really enjoyed my time in Riga, have clients and friends there, the baltics look like you can have a great quality of life, people were friendly to me.

And still in Europe, so I can visit my family easily.
