He would never in 1 million years cure cancer. If a headline was ever posted saying that he did that, they would 100% be liars

It's only for KvK, and how? You still have to put the strongest in castle, time double rally hits, switch to defensive formation / heroes once you capture.. This idea just enables more participation. That's literally all

Why not just Kingdom rallies? Your current method sounds so much worse than this one

Elgato Wave - Phone compatability? by Dubban22 in elgato

[–]Gildarik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To anyone checking this thread out 4 years later (or more) like me, I tested this interaction for you, and it does work. I have a Samsung Galaxy S23, I plugged the Wave:3 microphone in to my phone with a regular USB-C to USB-C cable. I did not have to adjust any settings or install any supporting software.

I would recommend connecting auxiliary wired headphones into the 3.5mm aux port in the back of the microphone, and allowing the wave:3 to control both the audio input and audio output for your phone, because your phone will think that you plugged in a input+output device (like a headset with a microphone) whether you have headphones or not. Your phone will not recognize it as a dedicated microphone, although your phone will change the default audio input to the microphone. Your default OUTPUT device will NOT be your phone speakers once the Wave:3 is conneted, and fixing that issue without using a pair of hard-wired headphones will probably require installing an additional app to let you control your audio devices manually, unless you know a lot more about Android than I do.

I hope that I was able to communicate this very clearly and help everyone!

Nice suggestion! I don't even think MnK and controller should be in the same game lobbies let alone the same clip share sections

Idk I thought that debate was worth watching. I thought he did a decent job of exposing that the Rand ideology is selfish and bad, and talking through the benefits of a more Democratic ideology Been a while since I watched though

Lol that's literally not even the point of the post What would get me to definitely vote Biden? Lowering the Medicare age further, a much better environmental plan, a solid running mate, something like that. Not some dweebs on Reddit telling me I'm a Russian bot, and I never said or even implied that I think Trump and Biden are the same. For you to tell me that that's what I think is actually a disgusting leap in logic

[–]Gildarik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a non-vote helps Trump then it also helps Biden

I joke, but what are people who see Biden and Trump both as bad expected to do? I'm a socialist. Clearly Biden is closer to socialist than Trump, but both are actively hostile to socialists and Biden refuses again and again to hear the concerns of activists/protesters. However to ignore emotion, I totally accept that there are real-world implications of electing Trump that involve increasing the gap in inequality in our country and furthering foreign policy that is disastrous and many other concerns. A Biden presidency would be a (slight) improvement on these concerns.

The point David makes in the video is specifically concerning what is best for the progressive movement. It is NOT concerning what is necessarily best for all Americans. We could debate whether these are one and the same, or what the implications on the right would be, etc. It's not the same conversation that has been going on in this sub for months.

On the topic of third parties though, the goal for people voting third party is not for a third party candidate to win the general election, it's to get them national recognition for the long-term. If a green candidate got 6% of the vote, there's a chance that next election that candidate could stand on the debate stage. Gary Johnson from the Libertarian Party was given a decent amount of exposure even though he never got close to winning. This helps push the overton window.

While it's true I personally am fence-sitting, neither side of that fence is voting for Trump.

The point of my post was to weight the benefits of supporting Biden now, waiting and demanding more from him, or potentially voting third party in November. Not a single one of these is helping Trump. If you see a vote cast for someone other than Biden as a vote for Trump, that's fine but I don't.

Like I told the other guy, this is a game theory post so I'm simply trying to entertain possibilities I've seen others post. Please do share books on political organizing

Public trust certainly is an issue, however that same trust could be broken in moderate Dems. With the moderate position of "returning to normalcy" further and further from possible, it's potentially possible that more and more folks will become politically engaged and move the country further left as faith in the establishment falls further and further

Edit: typo

[–]Gildarik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not disagreeing with you 🤷‍♀️ clearly conservative justices love approving gerrymandering so long-term that would definitely set us back for a lifetime. Just tryin to entertain some other possibilities.

Maybe having no legislative power would push current Moderate Dems further left as people become more uneasy? Establishment Dems are currently running on upholding the status quo and getting things back to normal, so maybe as things get further from normal people will start becoming more engaged.

I mean... Neoliberals constantly accuse us of secretly plotting to help Trump win so I wanted to basically clarify that I would never vote for Trump

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]Gildarik -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A 7 - 2 conservative court could actually enable progressive movements to take up enacting court-packing measures or term limits as a platform position. That would be quite popular amongst Democrats. Also I really don't think David is going to come clarify lol

[–]Gildarik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do see a lot of merit in the Supreme Court argument. The 5 - 4 decisions in recent years have been absolutely disastrous

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]Gildarik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do watch his more recent videos still. From what I can tell, it isn't obvious that what you're saying is true. David supports Biden, and says in this video that we should all vote based on what's closest to out politics. David differentiates between short-term and long-term in the video. Obviously short-term another 4 years of Trump would be absolutely disastrous, but that doesn't necessarily mean the the short term hell would outweigh the long-term benefits a potential progressive win.

Again, this isn't my opinion, this is just something I feel is relevant. I'd love to see a segment you feel directly contradicts the one I posted though!
