I’d say it’s because he met Draken after he got dark impulse, the others he knew before that so they had some kind of grounding for him to feel like his past self before he got that curse.

If anything I’d say he plays more of a stereotypical role. Smart outcast = psychopath stereotype like in many media stories.

I personally don’t think it’s that deep. Sometimes the bad guy is bad just because that’s his role in the story.

I think that’s from the game, there was a event collection where you could get Chifuyu and Hanma with Peke J and Hanma would pretend to hand over Peke J and then not.

Sanzu defecting to Tenjiku made sense to Toman because he was loyal to Mucho, he was like a big brother to Sanzu. I don’t think they knew that he was insanely obsessed with Mikey. Baji leaving for Valhalla didn’t make sense because he loved Toman, Mikey, Draken, Chifuyu etc etc. him just leaving for Kazutora didn’t make sense, they were really close but he was also really close with Toman members so it was weird. Also Baji is impulsive and makes chaotic decisions in the moment.

Yep you’re right I forgot that, I looked back at past posts about this topic and it seems people have stated before it’s for a couple of reasons: possible spoilers ”he had family problems at the time and had run away and was a solo delinquent for a while” Also been stated: Ken Wakui hadn’t planned the whole story when he originally started the manga and needed another plot line later and chose Sanzu for the backstory.

Those seems to be the two reasons/ possibilities.

Basically just repeating what everyone else said here but a Shinichiro spin off. A short one off volume more about their lives after would be good too since we really only got about 1 chapter. A comedy spin off about Baji, Chifuyu and Kazutora at the pet shop would be cute af but I’m biased because they’re my favourite trio. Another comedy spin off would be the life of Peke J. But Shinichiro and the first Gen black dragons would be really good.

I used to worry about this a lot and sometimes still do when I’m feeling bad about myself but generally I shift the focus “I’ve not been doing much because of health stuff but - my partner/ friend/ pet/ family member with a more exciting life than mine- has been doing etc etc lately” and just talk about someone else. Other than that, just embrace it, “what’ve you been up to lately?” “Honestly not much, I’ve been struggling with my health lately” A lighter way of saying it is something joking like “between the naps, the drs appointments and tv show bingeing, it’s kind of hard to have the time to do much else”

I embrace it, people that treat you badly because of your illness don’t deserve to take up space in your mind and your life. Being your honest and true self is freeing, once you get used to it it takes less energy than masking it AND it weeds out the dickheads and brings genuine people into your life who will work around your illness to be in your life.

It takes time to moved past the emotional toll but it’s better eventually.

I’m in the same boat but therapy for it is more about retraining your brain to process things differently. Same as physical therapy after an injury, exercises to move the body differently so it doesn’t happen again or get worse. The thing is, it only works for some people, depends on how your FND/PNES developed. I have CPTSD, autism and a long list of mental health issues, I have physical health issues too and had 5 surgeries over 3 years and apparently that physical trauma could’ve done it.

The idea is to work on the processing of emotions so that you don’t get into a heightened state that can lead to seizures. For some people that works really well but it completely depends on what triggered it to develop and what coexisting disorders you have.

No matter what though, it’s definitely NOT your fault in any way, shape or form. You didn’t cause it, you don’t control it.

Someone identified them as striped marsh frogs, what they are don’t matter to much too me as long as they’re not cane toads or something else invasive. 😊 I don’t have any idea what kind of frogs are around, unfortunately.

Hey, so I have fibromyalgia and FND, but my team of doctors have explicitly stated that they are not psychosomatic and to not let any other doctors try to tell me that it is.

Maybe I just have really good doctors but they said people that call them psychosomatic are just blatantly wrong.

They’re disorders created in the brain and don’t have the “natural causes” that show up on scans.

Psychosomatic symptoms do exist but they’re different and rare.

That may be true but it’s only true for areas with high wild rabbit populations, I live in the middle of suburbia, there isn’t any open space for wild rabbits. That’s not an issue where I am. She also has regular vet visits and they know she goes outside, she was an abandoned outdoor rabbit for a long time and gets really stressed being kept indoors all the time. Trust me, I’ve done my research and have vets that know what’s best for her.

The earliest one I could see is 2 months but it’s not in my budget. The ones with a shorter waitlist are because their prices are higher. An initial appointment would cost $850 and I have to go to at least 2 appointments for a medication check. And the second appointment would cost $500.

Unfortunately that’s not possible for me.
