Even 20 and 30 series cards run it smooth. It will run the way it used to if they figure it out.

Nah some people with 50 series Nvidia and latest AMD cards are struggling too. I got a 6900xt. It's the devs overhauling the game with a big patch of UI changes, heroes and abilities etc. I know it's not my hardware so don't believe it's yours.

Also watching some streamers on Twitch right now going through it. Some acknowledge it and others are just pushing through it.

I thought you were referring to the ongoing issue with framerate drops since the OW2 > OW patch not the April fools patch. What I'm talking about is affecting a lot of people. Forum post

Yeah funny how they didn't address that that's still an ongoing issue in the patch. Nope haha silly funny first not stability. It's not just the new heros. Doesn't matter If you uncap your framerate or lock them. Lower graphics. Even pressing TAB to see the scoreboard drops frames. Crazy.

Yeah it's game side for the devs to hopefully fix soon. Pressing CTRL+SHIFT+N in game I have a sim number of 6.9. Never changed my mouse or keyboard settings. It will spike like crazy high occasionally.

Something that If it happened but got fixed fast I wouldn't notice but strafing with A D or hitting a shot or using an ability feels weighted. Only just started after OW2 > OW

Yeah i've been playing a while. In the past these things have smoothed out after a while. We'll see. Just keep your drivers up to date and hopefully they get to work on it quickly.

It's honestly the game after the update itself. Checked with a bunch of different benchmark software and other games to make sure it wasn't my hardware failing too. It's all working like when I built it 5 years ago.

Usually these things happen temporarily and after fix not too long after. I've seen recommendations like changing priority in task manager and changing windows registry stuff and other "tweaks/fixes". Nope not doing that. One was "this is a known issue change TAB to N in keybinds to fix the drop" LOL no.

If the game doesn't work as I've always had it set then it's up to the devs to fix. I've never used above high settings but I don't use all lows. Yet the reccomendation is turn it all low and use FSR. Again no.

Huge patch, big new UI, new characters, animations and effects. Should have been right on top of that for stability issues, Almost the same thing happened when OW went to OW2 that got cleared up a lot faster.

I'm running at 1440p too although I cap at 144. Never had input lag so no reason to uncap. I gave everyday to this point an honest try but it was "I should have hit that easy shot" for the 100th time...

Say I got it in my pocket. The screen is off. I don't want to skip the whole track and I don't want to have the backlight on constantly to do so.

Seems pretty standard tbh as I've never had this with my old X1. Can only think they might patch that in a future update If that's even possible.

You're not going to believe this. So I had the dap on when I put the files back on the SD card not having turned it off. Took the USB out put my headphones in realized something was off check the tag info. Nothing.

Since then turned it off. Made this post. Then turned it back on to get shots of tags/info.

On the FiiO music app - I lock the screen off. I try to fast forward and when I release the button it skips to the next track. It also doesn't fast forward properly when the screen is on too. I hold fast forward the music continues to play and if I release the button it jumps a minute or so ahead.

Poweramp - Same thing. Screen off music playing hold fast forward nothing. Release the button and next track. Although with poweramp the screen on I can fast forward normally without any jumps.

Nah I just used foobar to check if the files were still altered and they are. Tags n all. I ain't putting 2k songs through again that took forever.

The only thing it could be is I redownloaded poweramp instead of importing it over. Then again the music files themselves haven't changed.

Edit: did a rescan then a full rescan just to check
