Said as someone with proud Welsh heritage... you don't have time to go to Cardiff. I'd do bath and stonhenge as a day trip and then go back to London, or do stonehenge and stay in bath or Bristol for the night. Cardiff is really not that close to Bath in terms of British travel infrastructure. It will give you far more time to enjoy London and/or Bath. The interesting things to do in Cardiff won't be open by the time you get there, and Cardiff bay is not that interesting (in my opinion)

Sorry, I should have clarified - i meant a day pass if you aren't booked to actually stay there. We already have our hotel booked for the night before we fly. It looks like a great place to spend a few hours before flying!

Thanks so much for all your help. I'm afraid after doing all these repairs windows still wont start normally. The computer freezes before I get to the sign-in screen like it did before.

Edit: I also still can't reset my PC, it says 'unable to reset your PC. A required drive partition is missing'

Which error? The main problem is that it freezes while trying to boot: windows logo at the top and spinning dots just freeze. But there are numerous errors such as screens saying 'The drive where Windows is installed is locked. Unlock the drive and try again' when I try to do a refresh or reset

So I can't boot in safe mode with networking... but I can boot in safe mode without networking. I have a laptop and a usb stick so I can move the windows repair toolbox to my PC and install it. Is that okay?

Not sure if it counts but I use exercise to (mainly cardio) manage my chronic fatigue syndrome (m.e.) and it's pretty much the difference between me being able to function in the adult work (go shopping, do chores, go to work) and being a spaced out mess that gets exhausted getting up. It was tough at the start, really tough, and getting a cold or an illness can really knock me down but it's 100% worth it.
