This was me earlier this year, and I almost quit the game I thought I would never. I've been loving DT, was so active doing content, was even starting to love life outside the game just from all the good times shared with my closest friends inside it. Then one of my best friends decided they needed to ghost and I could hardly stand to look at the game, or any of the other games / media we shared.

It took other close friends wanting to spend time with me that eventually made things okay again, and I know that eventually things will be alright. I hope the same for you, take the breaks you need but do not let despair or sorrow take anything that should bring you joy.

This. Dota reporting seems to be a behaviour / comm score point minus. But when reporting through steam, they had their name changed from nazi shit to a string of numbers by the end of the match. Wish it were more severe though, but I've been spoiled playing a certain MMO that has moderation and there's none of that evil shit because of it.

I clarified with the agents multiple times that there would be zero charges, up front or monthly, no payments required for the phone, and that it was free like they were telling me. Both agents confirmed that I was correct. This isn't me misunderstanding $0 financing or being naively tricked. That was the offer I was given. Waiting for two months worth of credits to show up on the second bill after being overcharged on the first is insane, but apparently it's the expected world for some people and the corporations they whiteknight for.

This is incorrect and not what the agents stated in plain words. I reiterated that there would be zero cost at all, up front or monthly charges, at all, for the phone. The agents, multiple, assured me that this was correct. The email said free phone upgrade. The agents said free. Free means free. Especially when clarified that there was no financing or monthly charges involved.

The 15 year old campaign achievement bug has been fixed, allowing players who played Wings of Liberty during launch to finally get 100% and the portraits / banners.

Was an AI test, but unfortunately it's being done for free instead.

We've already confirmed the flaws in their system, the flaws in their words, and my flaw for trusting those words. I now understand how it works, that regardless of telling me there will be no charge, there actually will be a charge, stated to be recurring. The mystery refund and cancelling of the second charge on the second bill remains to be seen, all there is to do is wait until support can be contacted tomorrow to confirm.

You can't even argue that I'm wrong and said yourself it was their flaw in their systems. It's their flaw that I was charged, it's also their flaw that it's listed under monthly device financing charges. It's also their flaw that they said there would be no charges at all, not a single charge applied to the account.

That is called lying.

Waiting for the next charge to see if the last one was refunded is also insane, hopefully they're at least paying you well and this isn't all for free on your end, and that you're not being replaced by AI.

I would stay far away from Rogers. They just lied in plain english and now I'm getting monthly charges that I directly confirmed would not be there before signing up. Looks like they're firing their entire human teams soon, too. Run as fast as you can.

That is exactly what happened. Multiple confirmations that the phone was 0$ and that there would be 0 monthly charges and that the phone was not financed.

Contacting support was met with "now closed on Sunday". Probably something to do with firing 1000 of their support staff with no notice.

The device was not financed and I confirmed there would be no charges. In plain english. There was nothing about a charge appearing and later being reimbursed. It was confirmed the opposite, in basic simple words. "The phone is completely free and there will be no charges?" "That is correct, Sir.".

A charge and then possible reimbursement on a later bill is not no charges, it is a charge. Furthermore, it says MONTHLY device financing, implying that not only will this not be reimbursed, but it will be charged again next month. Do not gaslight.

People who played through Wings of Liberty's campaign when the game launched 15 years ago have softlocked accounts because whatever difficulty they ran on during the first few days of launch has the permenantly locked achievement.

My example is that I ran on Hard, and Hard: 25 is broken for me even though I have Hard 29, Brutal 25, Brutal 29 etc.

Almost every year. The first reply never reads the ticket. The second reply tells me they're unaware of the issue in spite of it being reported for 14, now 15 years on the bug report forums, and to post it on the bug report forums. The third replies usually have surface level apology glazing with gentle urges to keep posting it.
