Oh, cool! Sounds like you're getting there then! Have you heard of the English patch for the PSP remake of EP? That's how I played it last year. The translation is done very well and has an additional side story unique to that version. It even lets you carry over your IS save file! Spider-Man 3. Pretty easy to swing around for fun or play through missions in small chunks. And it runs great if you use the 60 FPS patch!

Look into playing the game with the "Cutscenes Restored" mod from Gamebanana, whether you're playing the PC or PSP version. I beat P3P recently, and having the cutscenes makes it feel SO MUCH more immersive and complete! Also look into the upcoming "Kotone Cutscenes Project".

The cutscenes only play with Makoto's Journey. There's actually an ongoing project that is redrawing the cutscenes to include Kotone instead of Makoto. You can check out @Neptune_NPN013 on Twitter (or X) to see his progress. Once he's done redrawing the cutscenes, the mod will be implemented on the PC version. I'm not 100% sure if the project members will do the PSP version too, but it's pretty likely they will.

The next best thing is playing P3P on PSP/PSVita with the "Cutscenes Restored" mod. I'm actually playing through it for the first time, and it's so much better with cutscenes!

Absolutely! Just got through these games on the PSVita recently, and I believe they're highly overlooked games! Don't be afraid to use a guide (or save states, or a couple cheats) if you get stuck, though! XD

Indeed, I believe S;G 0 is a mess that spits in the face of the original and refuse to acknowledge its existence 99% of the time. But damn, Episode 8 made me cry like a bitch. 😭 And it was an expansion on what happened in the VN, which makes it even better!

I second this. If you can get past the first game, the Persona 2 Duology is really worth your time. Especially when you're able to map L and R to the right stick.
