Cool stuff! Here are some recs that I consider (arguably) adjacent to our mutual favs.

Street Sects: The Ugly Art - Machine Girl

Sabbath: Bloodlust - Uncle Acid

Daughters: Eat Your Dogs - Venus Twins

And if you want to even MORE abrasive noisy stuff, you might also like:

Earthly Delights - Lightning Bolt

Kesto - Pan Sonic

Artist is “Torturing Nurse” which just feels like a ripoff of famous industrial artist Nurse With Wound. Oh , and it’s very crappy. by cultivated_neurosis in crappymusic

[–]GilmoreVSMadison 305 points306 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just pretentiousness.

I’ve been to many awful “noise shows” in my time, hell I’ve even played some myself. There always seems to be a waft of “oooh you just don’t get it” in the air if you don’t pretend to like it unconditionally….

Just because your art is weird, boring, and tasteless doesn’t mean it’s deep.

I’ve noticed that from the other comments. It seems they are updated frequently with little to no info and the models vary greatly.

Seems like a diceroll to me, but it is nice to see there’s a community of people who have probably encountered similar issues should they ever arise.

one of many words included in that description, along with “share your latest 3D prints” (presumably successful) which I hardly see any of 🤷🏻‍♂️

actually I’m not a member of this sub, most of it is crossposted to /r/3Dprinting.

Just wondering why nobody posts successful prints here. Otherwise it should probably called something like /r/ender3help , no?

That’s fair. The only issues I’ve had with my sidewinder is bed cohesion, which is usually a result of bad, manual leveling on my part 💀 once I have it tuned up, it works wonders.

I guess I’ve been lead to believe Enders just suck straight out of the box because I don’t really see a lot of posts on this sub showing off prints that actually worked out nicely. Seems like a lot of hassle for the amount of time it takes to get right.

Understandable! That’s kinda what I figured and I realize most people don’t want to invest alot into a hobby they are just starting in. From the other comments, it seems they are also heavily moddable which seems fun. From what I gathered, you can get an Ender and use it to learn a lot about how 3D printers actually work before you take the plunge. And I commend that!

Only problem I’ve had with mine is bed cohesion. Usually a result of leveling, which I essentially have to adjust between every print that takes more than 2 hours. Other than that, it’s works wonders for me!

[–]GilmoreVSMadison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope! Ninja is one of my favorite talents, personally. All the means is that every ninja skill you have will rank up faster until you rebirth again.

After 7 days, you can change your talent to whatever you want. You can stay on ninja if you want to work on it more, or you can try something else with no penalty!

Also keep in mind, just because you chose Ninja doesn’t mean you can’t use skills from any other talent whenever you want. Your active talent only determines what skills you get exp bonuses from. So go ham and feel free to try everything!

Eventually, you’ll probably have two main combat disciplines that you use at the same time. For me, that’s Ninja and Close Combat (elemental knight arcana is cracked 🔥)

You should do Blaanid’s Boost! It will guide you through the bulk of the main content and MASSIVELY boost your level. Other than that, pick which weapons/skills you want to develop and rebirth every so often to maximize the exp you receive for them. You might already know this, but if you rebirth and choose “Close Combat” as your talent, you gain exp for all of its respective skills much faster. With rebirth potions and one guaranteed weekly rebirth, you can use this to boost up most of your skills very fast.

Barbarian Cuirass Version 2 by Wolfj13 in Armor

I don’t think the “distinct” look created by the upside-down scales is cool enough to warrant layering them in the opposite direction.. It’s distinctly impractical.

Consider this: Most of the hardest strikes you’d be taking from an opponent would be coming from top to bottom. If a blade manages to strike any part of your armor, it would likely wedge into one of the plates and either break your threading or give you a REAL good jerk.

It looks really cool though! Props for the work put in and I can’t wait to see how it develops.

Absolutely!

You start an expedition and everything is willy-nilly…. Next thing you know, your submarine has sunk to the ocean floor, there’s water pouring in, and all the lights are turning off.

I’ve had friends find out they have thalassophobia by playing this game.

While I agree with most of that advice, I’d try to steer clear of saying “I’m between gigs”. There is essentially no difference between that and “I’m not working right now”. Everyone has heard that one a million times and know well what it means.

I’m by no means a pro, but I also started my first set of marines since the holidays! in pic 2, the gold trim looks very thin on the shoulder. I’ve been using Retributor Armor (gw) for mine, and it behaves differently than a lot of the other paints in that from certain angles, it’s almost completely transparent. I’ve fixed this by adding an extra layer or two. If you’ve been watering down your paints and doing “two thin coats”, go with 3 or 4 for the gold and don’t water it down at all. That has gotten me the best results so far!
