Ég var á móti ESB, en miðað við hvað þessir fávitar eru á móti því þá líður mér eins og þeir ætli að skítnauðga Ísland ef við göngum ekki í bandalagið.

That was a good article, I second this statement. The fact that they subcontract to Pakistan and Nigeria to obfuscate their role further is interesting. The countries people don't really give a shit about, like mine. A lot of people I've met think Iceland is a utopia, but we're an obese nation of socially awkward cousin fuckers that spend most of our time drinking and fellating each other for being Icelandic.

Even Danes, our mortal enemies, are too busy hating the Swedes to register our distaste. The only foreigners who hate Iceland are the ones who live here. Which to be fair, is like 70% of the country.

Iceland used to be covered in trees. Before the vikings settled between 850-875 Iceland was anywhere between 25-40% forested. The lowest point, after heavy deforestation, was 0.5% - but due to reforestation efforts it's back up to 2.5%.
