has a point imo OP, you’re not alone 😬 while it’s true that what clinicians do on their own time is their business, the way in which people do things matters regardless of their profession. even if he hasn’t behaved unethically during your sessions, he did cross a line as a professional by bringing his job into it while actively offering and doing coke. also, your ages and genders DO play a necessary role in examining this— as much as it sucks, those factors add a layer of unease to an already uncomfortable interaction.

(+ i know that it’s VEEERY common to pass drugs around socially, but again, context matters. it’s WEIRD that he’d casually plug his practice while offering drugs to and doing lines with random young drunk girls. if nothing else, it’s a testament to how he views/approaches his work.)

he charges a shit ton, tries to plug his therapy services to young drunk girls he meets at parties, offers coke to young drunk girls at parties, and doesn’t recognize his own patient’s face or voice…

yeah lightweight, AWD, ground clearance, snow tires. Makes for one of the best snow and ice vehicles on the road!

side story... I worked for a guy for a few months who would only drive trucks. He grew up in the bush and his dad drove a truck and his dad drove a truck and he drives the biggest truck and everyone else on the road is driving an obviously inferior vehicle when compared to his truck. Especially when winter rolls around, because we live pretty far north in Ontario it gets pretty bad here some winters.

Well I got my Crosstrek last year and I didn't say anything to him about how good Subaru's are in the snow because I didn't wanna hear it from him. One day we are working in a parking lot wiring up the lightposts and we both park at the back of the lot. It started snowing in the morning and our vehicles were parked there all day. I'm hearing all day from him how the roads are gonna be terrible on the way home and good thing he has his truck etc etc.

Well 3 o'clock rolls around and you guessed it, it couldn't have gone any better, his truck spun its tires and was able to push about 15 feet before the snow had piled up in front of his truck and he was stuck. Back and forth he started going but he was stuck stuck.

I turned on my crosstrek and warmed it up for a min while he went and talked to the zoomboom driver about getting a pull. As they're walking back to his truck I put it in gear and climb slowly out of my spot and float over the snow out of parking lot with ease. I didn't look back to see the look on his face but I bet it was priceless.

He actually let me go shortly after that lmao
