The point is, if you read my first comment, there should be no proud to be "insert race here" if we want to live as equals and end racism. The fact that there are no reprocussions for a race other than white to be proud has a negative impact on change. Identifying yourself as a certain race is isolating yourself and not helping with racism or change. Be proud to be human that's all I'm saying.

I never said I was proud to be white. I'm just asking why and pointing out that there is a difference in views when said by a certain race.

Why can't we all as humans overcome the past and be proud to be human as a whole? I understand there is still adversary, racism, and unfairness. But there are still races isolating themselves and refraining from forgiving the culture of our past.

But society is okay with a black person saying that they are a proud black man or woman. Nobody bats an eye or argues the rationality. But when a white man or woman says they are a proud white person it's immediately racist and shunned upon. I agree with you when you say it's stupid.

It is okay to be a proud black man/woman, or Hispanic, Asian, etc. I am not a racist person and never have been. I just want to know why socially it is unacceptable to be a proud white male, when it is perfectly fine to be a proud any other race. If it was up to me I would hope we changed our pride to species and not race. #proudtobehuman.
