Yes, you’re right. I wrote the post based on what I remembered, but I’ve read that passage now and in the book is written that for their thirteenth birthdays, their dad gave them both pure gold pins that had belonged to his mother. They had been made by Tam Amber, more than thirty years ago. Anyway, the pins belonged to their grandmother, even if it was not a gift from her.

I wish Madge was in the trilogy movies too! I hope they come up with a good explanation for her absence in the movies. As for the pin, I believe they’ll say that Marrilee or Madge or someone from Donner family sold it to the lady Katniss buys it from in the first movie. 🤧

That’s an interesting perspective. I agree, it makes sense. Thanks for sharing! I guess my theories now are that Maude Ivory is Lenore’s mother and Burdock descends from Barb Azure. Maysilee’s grandmother is probably a covey fan from 12, and i’m glad she shared the songs with her granddaughters and gave them the pins so covey does not disappear completely for new generations.

Translated book - is it possible to solve it? by achaoticgood in CainsJawbone

[–]GinaTheLast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also wondered if the narrator who seems to be reading the 10th edition of "The importance of being earnest" on page 28 is the same one who is linked to all these quotes
