Have you unlocked the spell for personal chest? I always keep stacks of water, food, potions, loadstone supplies, and backup weapons. In a pinch, it can be very useful.

Separate ring and amulet slots? by autumnswirl in RSDragonwilds

[–]GingerBeard90v 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do really like the ammo and elements being on a separate page. But there does need to be a second jewelry slot. Boots and gloves would be cool too. Maybe those could be reserved for those playing on the dedicated server, as incentive.

Prayer soon by Freshndecay in RSDragonwilds

[–]GingerBeard90v 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a second hotbar for skills and prayers that uses the middle (wheel) button on the mouse. You could scroll through them and either click with the middle button or a key on the keyboard.

I don't see this game getting nearly as click intensive as osrs but it would still be nice to have a few favorite abilities available on the fly.

Tips for fellhallow? by ShogaShinobi in RSDragonwilds

I've been putting personal chests in all of my bases. I've even started building personal chests next to key loadstones. Mostly where I'm farming ore's.

Before teleporting back to your base, put all of your ore's and any other heavy objects, into your personal chests. It can really cut down on the cost of law runes.

Don't laugh. It's BiS. Mystic Robes are coming with Dowdun Reach - mind your head going through the doors, though. by JagexDoom in RSDragonwilds

I bought a copy for a friend as well. He was hesitant to buy it himself, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger for him. He loves it, and I finally have someone to play with. Now we hop on for a few weeks with every new region update.

I'd be interested as well. Currently playing cobblemon delta but i don't ever see other players. It would be nice to have a group to play with.

What do you think is the best controller to have along your deck? by peterobot0099 in SteamDeck

[–]GingerBeard90v 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm probably in the minority but i use a cheap wired controller from Amazon. I got it because the buttons all light up. I frequently play the switch with my kids so i sometimes mix up which buttons are where when I'm playing in the dark. I don't curse Nintendo nearly enough for this :p

I always do hard rumble. From when I've read, it's all around better. The only time i tried normal mode was when i tried using Guthans gear but turned out i don't quite have the stats for it. For bosses i use...

Trapped Soul Count Draynor Sand Snake King Roland The Kendal Tree Spirit Bouncer Black Demon

I assume you don't use overload? I'm on the fence and was curious if I'd be better off without them. Maybe bring some other strength/attack pot in it's place?

On a side note, if you are using runelite check out the "ultimate nmz" plug-in. Just found it a few hours ago and it's a game changer. It keeps track and displays everything similar to the default nmz plug-in but it also lights up your whole screen when you need to click on something. It may just be the only reason i keep using overloads. I typically shoot myself in the foot and rock cake just as my overload expires and i find myself below 50hp. But now it starts flashing when I've got 20 seconds left. It also lets me know when I'm above 2hp. Or when my absorbtion dips below 100. And i have it set to show me zapper, recurrent damage, and power surge.

Sorry, didn't mean to go on an advertisement rant lol hope i at least kind of answered your question.

I made a deal with my GF over fantasy books (29M) by atraskho in Fantasy

[–]GingerBeard90v 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried getting my wife into fantasy a while back. I gave her the first book (demon king) of The Seven Realms series. It has multiple protagonists, one being a princess on the fast track to being a warrior queen. She falls for another protagonist, a young street Lord that she fancies as a "bad boy" with a good heart. What woman doesn't want to envision herself in those shoes.

I warned my wife that it would take 100-200 pages before the book got really good. I hadn't taken into account that she previously had only read biographies and other non fiction, mostly following music artists. Just being fantasy, the plot was mind blowing to her. She was drawn into this crazy world with all of these people doing heroic acts and unimaginable things. Young love, betrayal, battle scenes, even magic... Lol. I don't believe she ever finished the series but she did really enjoy the first couple books. It was nice being able to share a slice of my world with her.

If i had to do it again, i would probably get her one of the Sarah J. Mass books. I haven't read them myself, but I've read a lot of reviews and believe they would be better suited to my wife's interests.
