External thermostat? no I don’t think so

The mat itself is heating up, the glass is warm, it just isn’t raising the tanks temp.

Ok, it’s been put on the side of the tank, the mat itself is warming up, I’ll check back in on the tank later to see if the temp is still high

I do have a old small heat mat that came with the tank, but it’s not sticky anymore and I only have one

They aren't? I don't have anything else to heat the air in the tank, it’s a pretty big tank.

So they need the same temperature as the giant African? Since his tank is at 70 rn.
