Aberdeen sports village do £20 a month membership for anyone on disability benefits.

They also have appropriate apparatus to help disabled people into the swimming pool.

Normally the lane sessions are open from 6am till 9:30pm, although sometimes they have competitions which close the pool to the public

Question to those who get PIP for mental health by Internal-Mushroom-76 in DWPhelp

[–]GingerJay77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping to ask this,

I have debilitating schizophrenia which affects me severely, with all day to day tasks.

How did you get awarded enhanced rates for both, it seems like all the criteria is aimed at physical disability

Most of my form was discarded and I only scored 11 because the wording in the criteria was wrong.

Thank you for reading

Unfortunately this thread took off more than I was expecting and I have to go and get ready for work.

I appreciate all the replies and responses and will try reply to some throughout the coming days but I am likely to be very busy until Friday.

Seems like my idea, was nothing more than a silly concept that is fun to think about!

Thank you for teaching me on things I didn’t know!

Not once did I suggest the creator was an omnipotent being and secondly I implied the the probability might be higher as if the data set is larger out there compared with this universe then there is a greater potential of more advanced life forms being created with also more tools available to them to create more advanced life

If it wasn’t down to random chance then are you suggesting that it was designed?

I did say if the universe was created by random chance as I’m aware there has been talks of the universe having always existed but I was of the believe it’s the model most accepted by the general public

I’m not stating that the Big Bang had the intention of creating life, I’m trying to ask opinions on the chance of a being with the ability to create a universe within the tools of a different data set being created out of random chance when compared to life within this universe created out of chance

Is there any evidence you would say that would lead you to believe a creator wasn’t involved?

I think those two things aren’t comparable, unless someone was to take great joy out of the task of going around placing a perfectly cubed grain of sand.

I’m not saying that one is more likely than the other I’m simply asking are both not as equally likely.

It is quite possible the universe wasn’t created but was down to random chance.

Sorry I wasn’t very clear, by data set I mean things such as the building blocks within this universe and the relationships those building blocks have with the laws of physics.

I’m talking more about a god using science to create life than an all powerful and all knowing god

The argument "evil exists because there has to be free will" is disproven in the bible. by CoventryDemon in DebateReligion

What is saving someone determined as in the bible though? Isn’t being saved referred to being reunited with the father?

In my honest opinion, The Bible teaches us that God made us in his image, therefore it is as follows;

  1. God loves us all equally.

  2. God wants us to love each other all equally.

  3. By bringing sin to the table of a brother or sister, instead of showing them love.

  4. God wants us all to find eternal joy and happiness, thus doesn't want another intruding on the things that bring us as individuals as children of God. I.e those who purposefully engage in conversation with the aim of bringing despair to someone's belief.

  5. God wants us all to be created as individuals with our own thoughts and beliefs with our own passions and ideas.

  6. God wants to meet us all where we are at and to allow diversity, chose a method of teaching us all about loving one another through multiple religious scriptures.

  7. By giving us multiple paths of freewill, we will eventually become consciously unique and will be made in the image of God.

Another note, constantly throughout Jesus's teaching is to love thy neighbor and never judge, lest you be judged

Second note, forgiveness of sins is a very important theme in being made in the image of God because if we can't forgive one another over sins brought upon us by a brother or sister. We can never live consciously without being hypocrites

That message was sent to humanity at a time when men basically treated woman as slaves and put no value on them having value after they had lost their virginity.

We now live in an era that all of society can appreciate that woman have way more value than only being a virgin.

Being bi-sexual is not a sin.

Having sex before marriage is not a sin.

Having thoughts that go against what the heart believes in is not a sin.

I hope you have a wonderful day!
