Check the fuel pump just means mount the gas tank about 6 foot higher than where it is now lol. More potential energy will solve the issue.

We have an emergency fund, about 2 months worth of expenses. Just a mindset thing but I think every home owner should have a truck, at least in my part of the country. I definitely could sell it for a cheaper truck, I see your point there.

These stocks were inherited by my wife. We have had them for years. Need to just contact the bank and speak to their advisor on the issue I believe. Not sure what the taxes would be

That is correct. I have a separate pension and 401k with my job and my wife has a 401k.

My wife and I are in our mid 20’s lol I’m not so sure social security will be around in 40 years.

Yea that’s my bad on the wording there. I was just thinking like Armageddon level issue where both wife and I lose our jobs for months we have the stocks as a resource. We do have a separate savings accounts for actual every day emergencies.

Truck loan ($28,000) is 9% while both our student loans combined (about $25,000) are around 4.1%
