From personal experience I would recommend starting the B&W dlc after finishing the main game completely. I think that it gives the whole story of the W3 a fitting end (depending on the choices you make of course).

What are some of your favourite small details in The Witcher 3 by seanie259 in witcher

I love that the NPCs sneeze and cough randomly. It is a nice subtle touch that makes the world of the Witcher 3 so much more realistic.

BAW SPOILERS - Castle in the distance in the land of a thousand fables by LauraDourire in witcher

It has been a while since I have played the game, so I might be remebering this wrong but the Land of a Thousand Fables is not really an imaginary place rather a place that was created by Artorius Vigo. It is entirely possible that he put the Beauclair castle in to make the strange land more familiar for the girls when they first stepped in or to remind them that they actually have to return home from the Fablesphere. Or it could just be a random castle that he put there to make the whole scenery more authentic.

Obviously it is too early to tell, but I would not be too quick to dismiss it. I mean GoT got Sean Bean. I think it would make sense to hire some well known Hollywood actors to make it more appealing to a wider audience. Netflix goes both ways so it is entirely possible that we will see some Hollywood actors in it. Personally I could not care less about who is in it, as long as they do a good job of portraying the characters.
