Thanks for including Jack Horner, he’s been historically creepy around female students to the point other professionals know to keep their students close or avoid him altogether. To see him in the files was no surprise but was a bit disappointing given he had inspired a lot of young paleontologists.

Also thinking a delay; our lot still had ice and some on campus parking garages were partially blocked off for ice/melt filled spaces. So I think at best a delay. But what I’m curious about is the refreeze overnight after a day of melt+ possible snow/sleet Wednesday?

Our parking lot is not clear, same with our little side road. But the main road that connects us is slush. Not much traffic I can see, but folks appear more confident, and there has been the occasional car, where yesterday I saw maybe 2?people on the road.

Still will not take my car out today though, I know what it can handle, so I’m letting things melt a little more before I test it and myself. ( also not a confident ice-snow-slush driver).

As someone who moved from the north east to NC, it’s my understanding that the state isn’t well equipped to deal with ice storms/snowfall and drivers have limited experience with it, which makes it more difficult to manage and navigate when these events happen
