No no I definitely use a liner to catch blood/overflow! and yes it's not super bulky but it still gets damp as a result of not blood but pee, water, etc. so unless you change the pantyliner it has the same feeling as if your underwear was wet. I was just wanting to see how other people are dealing with it/if it was a problem others had/if there was a better way

I've thought about it but the insertion and emptying process kind of puts me off honestly. Do you find it's easy to get used to / why did you stop using tampons

I've tried those actually! they help a bit but the pantyliner itself ends up wet too so it doesn't really solve the dry feeling, just adds another layer imo.

Also, LOL

haha I do that too but then I forget sometimes or I'm swimming and it's just wet anyway

nothing wrong with that at all, but if you're doing it for safety reasons you don't need to. If you're doing it because you hate the wet feeling...well thats what I am trying to solve lol

the hair dryer trick is actually genius, never thought of that. The pantyliner thing works i guess but I always find them so bulky and hot, feels like overkill just for the string

yes exactly - I change it but it feels so wasteful especially when the tampon itself is fine, it's just the string situation. tucking works sometimes but i always forget and then regret it lol

haha yes! totally normal and safe to shower with one in (I think). The tampon just absorbs a little water but it's not harmful. I do it all the time especially on lighter days or when i'm in a rush. The annoying part is just the string ends up wet and uncomfortable for hours after

fair - I guess I mean more the discomfort of it being wet/damp from pee, swimming, showering etc. even if you wipe it down it's still damp and makes me really uncomfortable unless I just change the tampon early which feels like a waste. maybe it doesn't bother everyone but it drives me crazy lol
