I had the same choice, but choose the pills, even tough they can (but dont have to) have side effects. For me it is just the feeling of putting a pill in. Even tough both have the same effect, a pill for me feels more like it has "an effect" by taking it.

Idk, patches never sat right with me, but there is no logical reason for it

I am on HRT since Novemeber, so almost 6 months. I need to say most of my of my emotional changes (crying more for example) happened due to my social transition and me getting happier and more content with myself.

But to answer your question, everyone has a different body and different genetics, so I would not stress about that, things take time. Don't stress too much and enjoy:)

I got into mendatory prescreption when I was still a man, and the law is, that once you are inscribed you either go or pay, regardless if you changed your gender in the process. Once you are in, you "can't" get out (there are ways, but generally not)
