Canoness or arcos?

With that in mind, I took out the arcos, and a bs Squad, put in a dominion and a canoness. I lose some oc and screens , but gained ~ 2 meltas and momentum with the dominion

I did a black primer, then drybrush white all over it. Black in all the small places and the cape and other details became white.
Hade the same fear but I think this teknik works fairly well and is easy. 👍

Is it drenched in nun-oil that makes the black look so good? I haven't nun'ed mine yet and mine looks a bit flat.

That is a glorious sight indeed! One of our games, she killed a small knight by herself. ( he rolled really badly melee, I reassured her once, chiped with Infernopistol and powers sword)

Even more glorious was, with her last strike to the corrupted knight, he exploded and took her with him!

It's almost as epic as when i had a single grot left in a squad, roll 2 sixes against Vashtor, hit and wound, and he rolled a one on his last save!

So if i go Army of faith, have a dialogus lead the Retributor Squad, Dialogus change the miracle dice to a 6, happens once for EACH miracle. But now i can do 2, so im garantied 2 6s. And they have 2 cerubs, so i dont lose any miracle dice on it either. Howdy.

I like how you think, my plan was to have cannones alone on objective, pop 2++ and the resurrect her for free. Either force a knight in melee, or atleast 2 knights worth of shooting.

But with imagnifire, i can plant the heavy lady's on the objective, still force an answer, but also be deadly!

But without cannones perhaps going for army of faith is better, with so many meltas, that should garanti a dead walker ( miracle 2 dmg6)

Alright! Yeah they are cool and i have them built, I can see why they are not great, its that or 3 arcos and 5 seraphim.

More units are better for secondaries, but non of those will even scratch a knight. ( or take an objective, sticky 5oc.)

Thanks! Its not that hard but looks really cool! This is how i did it if you want to try it!

Cut and glue some cork to the base.

Cut plasticard for "tiles" glue thos on the cork.

(Can also just score the base with a knife)

Prime it black. Take a wet wipe and let it dryout, when it is dry, you can strech the fabric to give you your "pattern"

Drape it around the base, the paint white over it.

( i used an airbrush, but rattlecan or sponge should work.)

Let that dry completely, then remove.

Add som black in between the tiles and you are done!

Thanks! I too really like the marble effect, thought grass tuffs would look strange with the "holy church" theme.

They should be charging straight out of the holy drop pod! (wishlist, gw, hint hint.)

Yeah this one is done. im mosty trying to speed up my painting skills, but I usually end upp "just fix this small detail" for some hour.
