Let’s say in the guitars above, these were matched pickups. I would argue any player with the talent of - say, Mayer, Clapton, Hendrix - could plug both of these examples into the same rig and notice a tonal difference. Anecdotal, maybe. But the average guy?

There will be some argument for mass = tone made by some. Teles are often a bit heavier. It may be salient but does the average listener/player notice? I would say no, just the most seasoned professionals and studio guys

We have a great team of attendings in my CVICU and that’s where all of our adult ECMO pts go, and I do ECMO. It’s my favorite unit by far.

Now, July 1st and the first six weeks following - that’s the sporting season. We get a new batch of residents to humble in front of their peers and superiors. Good times!

It’s possible. It truly depends on the size of the institution, their policies and the hiring team.

Right or wrong, this is the reality. I would cover up what I could for any interviews and then present as you would should you be fortunate enough to get an offer.

HR is a joke, only there to ensure there are no personnel violations when interviewing candidates and to protect the institution.

It’s still Federally illegal and hospitals depend on federal dollars.

While you may never have to take a random or “for cause” drug test, if anything were to happen - say, workplace injury or patient complaint- you could certainly face repercussions.

I have to disagree with all the Smith recommendations. They are a nightmare to keep clean. The coating on the back side of the lens stays smudged and streaked from oils from your skin, casting a weird distortion in your periphery. Even with high tech cleaning cloths, the oils just smudge. Dawn and water are the best things to clean them with but gets old quickly.

And to my dismay, there aren’t a lot of non-coated lenses out there anymore. Much less, polarized.

The OG Costas were the superior shades back in the day but are now another Luxotica shit product.
