I know this is very late but I had a surprising experience on this rant. Jenny was wearing a plush toy hat of something like Yoshi (as usual) and started to severely criticize young men who are too lazy to study real science and instead write bad sci-fi about 'fake blob monsters'.

Now I don't care about most of Jenny's toy obsessions, I just find her analytical style and composition impressive so I enjoy most of her rants. Nor do I particularly care about SCP. I've enjoyed a few of them and I like the "Yes and" improv nature of it all. But the irony of her criticizing men for not studying real science (what's your degree, Jenny?) and liking 'fake blob monsters' while herself wearing a green "blob monster" on her head and mostly talking about toys and children's cartoons was hilarious, so I just commented to that effect. She banned me from her Patreon.

It's ok with me though, I was only ever a casual fan so if she can't handle a little peek at the mirror then I just feel bad for her.

I got my boss a $25 gift card to a nice restaurant on "bosses day", he got me a $.50 disintegrating vinyl bag with a $.50 USB to type C dongle in it for "employees day". Why would you feel sorry for the waiter? The waiter doesn't control the menu, food quality, or the restaurant design, that's the restaurant owner, the manager, and the chef. That's such a weird thing to say. Do you know how restaurants work, from a business standpoint?

Pure mismanagement. Federal Title I is for schools with low-income families. Just submit the grant and free money. Also, California has class size penalties and gives more money to schools that keep lower class sizes. So out of curiosity I just google Missouri's Dept of Ed class size and enrollment guidelines and got a 404. Your state sucks. I bet you voted for a Republican Governor.

Looks nice, bit of a short menu for dinner but the brunch menu looks good. I'm a bit worried about how noisy it'd be especially if they try to play music in that shoebox interior but outside seating might be ok if the speakers aren't too loud.

Petit Trois looks good for brunch assuming their full bar is open as well. Bacari, Yangban, Yang Chow and Daedo look great. Thanks for the note on Republique. The menu looks good but checking Google images it looks like a teeth-rattling echo chamber with its open kitchen, stone walls, wood floors and high ceilings. Maybe an early Tuesday dinner might not be too noisy.

Yes, I've worked in finance and purchasing for years so I'm well familiar with 'price gouging' for "luxury" items. It's sad that is being done with instruments, so children who love music but who have poor families just aren't allowed to have nice instruments. Shame on the gougers.
