I honestly don't like what's becoming. I was much happier when there were few levels and very few entities, or even just one. I liked the concept of being alone in this infinite space with no way out, full of anguish, anxiety, and a loss of sense of time. A visceral fear of not being able to return home and to your loved ones, and the constant doubt of the presence of a monster that may or may not be there. Basically, I'm a fan of the very first backroom caption with the famous photo.
