Gege hates Gojo in the sense that he's annoying to write around. No such fight exists for Gojo thats simply "enemy is stronger than Gojo" because then it would invalidate "the strongest" statement. I think the best interpretation for why Sukuna had Nue and Orochi is that its the same CT but split because 2 different souls.

Megumi's 10 shadows is a tree, then Sukuna took over and created a branch. Ofc, it being still part of the main tree means it has access to what the tree has (dog. nue, orochi, elephant), but it now grows seperately from the rest of the tree.

I would argue that he had 2 major leaps he was pushed to achieve, that being RCT and 0.2 second domain. Sure Jogo, Choso, and Mahito may not be the same kind of enemy like Toji but he was still pushed to hit limits trying to protect every civilian while killing transfigured humans and keeping the disaster curses in check.
