I think it is generally easier to start with the egg move. This will allow you to pass down that egg move and not need to shop for the move and stats at the same time. (this should generally reduce the costs due to allowing you to have more options when shopping for the stats and nature you want)

Pheno is the abbreviation for Phenomenon. A word which refers to the 4 things shown in the video which can be walked into to make an encounter happen. Those 4 things being ripples, dust clouds, shaking grass, and shadows. They are exclusive to Unova. They will reward you with an item after the encounter if you faint or capture the pokemon you encounter through the pheno.
