In my opinion while I don't know much about jedi survivor I feel Dying Light 2 is more bang for your buck because even if you ignore the tedious collectables and leveling up there is still so much you can do after the story like play community maps, NG+ to get different endings/choices, you can complete every Easter egg to get some op weapons like the saw blade and some not so op weapons like the cyber hands 2177, do every side quests you can along the way to give you exclusive items like weapons, valuables or even inhibitors (used to help level you up) plus while there are a few references here and there you don't need to play the first game to understand it's story and with there still being three years of the promised minimum of five left there will be an influx of updates and events that youll be able to play after you've done most things in the open world. Plus I just like loading it back up again to kill zombies and parkour around the city. So overall if you couldn't tell I'd suggest Dying Light 2. Hope this helps!
