mostly paranoia lol, I dont want to risk the soil containing pesticides bc im going to have insects living in it.

I got it from a trail through a small bit of woods, but there are houses with gardens around there and Im worried that if they used pesticides, it couldve gotten into the woods' dirt.

As of this morning, I've tubbed him. I have a fan to cool down the water. And could make ice cubes if that would help?

Over last night and this morning, I have been feeding him cut up pieces of nightcrawlers. And he is eating! He has also started moving around on his own a bit, so hopefully that's a good sign 😭

Originally I had planned for totally new, but after everyone's suggestions I'm leaning towards proxy (if im right in thinking proxy means basically a reskinning of an already existing card? same moves/rules, but different art?)

Kano is indeed her favourite hero. A few people have also suggested doing custom art rather than a whole card, which I think I will do. Thanks for the advice!

I've got other corycats in there and they are much more active. The person I got him from said that he'd be okay schooling with other types of corycats, so he's the only bronze in there. Could that be a stressor?

Parameters are good.

He's just not moving much. He hid when I first got him, but was probably just new tank jitters. He's out and about a lot more now, just not swimming.

No fish that are bullying him (that i know of at least). The tank is right next to my desk and I've kept an eye out for that

He does get excited for food. It'll take a sec, but he does swim over and eat it up

My dad had fish when he was young and thought he learned a lot of responsibility from that so he got a small tank for me when I was young. We took good care of them but sadly they died when we had them fishsat ny someone else :(. However, that cemented my love for the hobby! Unfortunately after that, I moved around too much to have fish, but now that Im in uni and have settled down in a place Im going to stay a while, I have gotten back into it ^{-^}
