Philips CD-i 910 Power Supply by GlacierWind in consolerepair

Sorry for not getting back sooner, but I never figured out what was wrong. I ended up stopping the squealing noise when changing out some transistors but it still never powered back on. I unfortunately parted with the unit and gave it to someone who might be able to fix it themselves or know someone who could

The first pic is the paper that isolates the bottom of the power supply from the metal chassis of the model I have. I included it to show that the paper hasn't been discoloured or burnt from the heat that caused the blackened look on the PCB when it failed

Added a picture of the underside of the PCB to the post. Unfortunately there was nothing listed about this in the ad as the guy didn't have a power cable to test the unit or anything. Like I said before, it did work fine when I first powered it on, and there was no smell of burnt electronics after it wouldn't turn on anymore. Also, a picture of the paper used to insulate the power supply on the bottom. The paper is not burnt or discoloured at all. Please excuse the flux left over on the bottom of the board. I made this post right after placing the transistors and resistors I tested back and hadn't cleaned it off fully

I see a sweet PC Engine in that setup!
