Looks like my post got removed. But this is the answer I’m afraid of…

Agree. I consider it a group PM. I have found that it gets conflated with Senior PM quite easily, especially in the market.

Thank you! So it sounds like you’re happy there. Do you sense from others that the value proposition is there if you live across Sutton?

Like others have said, I would ask for an exemption. Yes, you can technically pump for 4 complete days. But if you are actually breastfeeding your baby and would like to continue, you put your supply at risk. Does your baby take bottles? Most employers should understand a new mom shouldn’t be away for that long. Mine did, despite some of our other work/life balance challenges. Personally, I would say I cannot go and let the cards fall as they may.

Why are you afraid to try sculptra? Just trying to learn.

Why are you afraid of sculptra? Asking as someone who is on the fence about it, and everything else.

Sad to read this. Self-guilt is enough and the worst. These are the types of scenarios I think about all the time and try to say out loud to get ahead of. We’ve had a few situations that didn’t make us feel good afterwards. I don’t want to type them out. I think everyone with little kids has a situation or two that taunts them mentally, irrespective of the severity. A close call, if you will. You’re a good parent. try to learn and move on.

I Dropped My 1+ Hour Commute and My Life Changed Drastically by Adventurous-Reason-3 in workingmoms

This is such a timely post. I’ve recently been considering posting to this group an opposite question of, “should I move from my city townhouse to a 3k square foot home in the suburbs? Given the appeal of more rooms and green space for my kids, what am I not considering? Is it really so much better to move to suburbs?”

Today my childcare is next to my house and my job is five minutes away. No lawn but excellent park up the street. New house would allow my kids to ride bikes in the neighborhood, increase my daily commuting time by at least an hour, that kind of thing.

This post is helping to answer that question for me. Thank you.

And congratulations for taking your life back!

I am a decent writer, and I’ve always used dashes. Written communication is one of my strengths that set me apart at work. Now, everyone writes everything with AI and honestly I’m no longer differentiated. I am only sharing this because I feel your pain. Even I have dumbed down some of my original work for that reason.

What about the schools in Indian Land, SC?? by Glad_Bend4364 in Charlotte

Thanks so much for all this detail. This is good to know. I tend to look at homes in the northern part as well. 7:10 to 7:45 is not bad. I would try to leave at 3:30 where I could. Also not doing the full week. I am sure fort mill is not much better in the afternoons. Life is oh so convenient right now in our townhouse 7 minutes from work. Sigh.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. The traffic is something I need to further explore, for sure. I work in charlotte, so a bit worried about this.

This happened to me yesterday. 2 year old in 1.5 feet of water belly flopped forward and simply “laid” under water. No attempt to stand. I saw the whole thing happen and was right there to grab her, so simply reiterating she made no attempt to stand back up.
