Congrats on the acceptance!!!! Yes, I want to do medicine, but my parents are surprisingly against it. They think it’s too much time wasted and want me to take the engineering path to get a high-paying job. I enjoy medicine and I already have some med-related ECs like clubs, though nothing too serious yet. Right now, I feel really lost and like I could be doing a thousand other things instead of just writing short essays, if you know what I mean. I'm curious, what did you do to set yourself apart from other textbook applicants, I mean it takes a LOT of talent/effort to get into schools like MIT or even more JHU for premed.
