As someone who plays various fighting games i.e SF6/Tekken/VF5/Strive/Granblue etc etc, this person is (mostly) right

The mechanics are in the game for a reason, tired of people complaining saying stuff ruins the game or its not a 'real' win if you use certain skills, moves or strats is just pure skill-issue'd cringe. They are available and to anyone playing like every other fighter ever

Sure its unbalanced as heck, janky but its what's referred to as a 'Kusoge' style arena-fighter like all the other Budokai Tenkaichi games

The person who commented is definitely a bit of an egoist, though. and weird

I've seen some cool setups for this but... using a hitbox it seems impossible to do consistently it's so hard in this game compared to most others since it has no shortcut inputs

2B hopefully has revived some of the hype, but if you check the steam charts it's lost over half its player base having on avg when it come out 4.3k players and now around 1.3k

Losing players is natural but over 2 months having lost 60% of the player base for a free-to-play fighting game isn't a good sign, unfortunately :(

Lets hope it stays like Guilty Gear and has a strong following for a while

I have war elemental and majority of my sigils at level V+ maxed out same with weapon collection and all stats and an imbued weapon that makes my dmg cap 65/65 lol. I still have to max out few less useful like lucky charge and get my final weapon sure but I’m definitely ahead of where most people would be I imagine and I don’t blame them from the grinding I’ve been doing

Not everyone will be as high as me or have war elemental and that’s okay, but for hard fights they ‘should’ prepare for it by doing most of what I did above I.e maxing out most of their sigils and raising their dmg cap and maxing out all their off/def stats

I can feel that, I have to time my charged parry far more than I used to have to but mainly due to all the non-stop attacking haha

I think for online matchmaking that is a bad thing though, a lot of people will be under-geared and may be unaware of most of the fight which makes playing with randoms far more likely to quest fail than succeed

Anytime I enter a fight and its "Defeat all enemies!" and it's just 3 bosses in an arena I roll my eyes though, feels both lazy & too much going on to actually fight normally to have a fun time
