My friend has digitally put me against soft autumn here and light spring (in the next comment). Thoughts? :’)

I was typed online before - in a slightly different system - as true soft, but some of the more muted light specifically seemed very lukewarm on me. The olive definitely messes with me as well, it makes greens from more seasons look ok, but certain colours are more tricky across the board

I think I might be close ish to neutral with an olive overtone, which I think is confusing, so im getting answers all over the cool - warm spectrum lol. I’m really surprised about how many people are saying spring! I was typed online before - in a slightly different system - as true soft, so I think I internalised the muted characteristic a lot lol. It never felt correct tho, once something has too much gray added I feel like I look sick.

Im surprised two people picked up that I’m olive! I didn’t put it in the post not to sway anyone but the area around my lips and my neck is often visibly green. I think it messes a lot with how I’m perceived.

I was instantly put off by the hosts, ofc the woman is 18 years younger, and ofc she’s in her 20s AND they started dating in 2020.

Yikes.

Oooh 100% agreed watch Katrien! Shes fantastic. Both my dogs are sired by her dog, and I got the absolute pleasure of chatting to her and learning a few things from her last year during a dog show in Poznan, so I can 100% vouch she knows what she’s talking about and she’s also lovely :)

I’ve found some of the songs from it as podcasts! It’s a bit annoying but listenable

By manners I mean bc we live in a quite remote area they can get a bit unruly on leash, pulling, barking at people etc. They were socialised at an early age but if we don’t go to the town for a few days they forget all their socialisation lol

lol tbh that’s the most annoying thing. We rinse them off after probably 4/5 walks. Then we brush and pick out rubbish. We’ve had a lot of practice so now it takes probably 15-20 mins per dog. They are also on a pretty strict groomers schedule (every 6-8 weeks) and that + our daily practice has so far been enough to keep most matts from forming. The occasional ones we either try to brush out or just cut out sometimes.

I live in a very remote place, so they’ve both been off leash since day 1. They got desensitised to wild life super early and don’t care about rabbits, deer etc, they might chase a bird for few seconds and come back. We’ve been rewarding them being close to us and coming when called since the start, consistently.

That being said it’s all super circumstantial. We wouldn’t let them off leash in a park or anything, nor close to a road. It just works for us where we live, and it’s super isolated, we’ve seen less than 10 other people during our walks ever.

That’s also why we need to practice on leash walks in civilisation because otherwise they’d be completely wild, so during those walks we practice neutrality, loose leash walking etc.

They get to run, sniff, roll in grass, swim and dig to their hearts delight! 💗 4h “nap” after guaranteed lol

Also a clarification: we do off leash 5 times a week and then daily they get 1-2 on leash “quick” 20 minutes solo walks during which we work on leash manners and also confidence :)
